They're still deliberating

There's still no news yet on the Nevada Supreme Court deliberations that could kick Clark County Commissioner Bruce Woodbury, Assembly Speaker Barbara Buckley (D-Las Vegas), and dozens of other elected officials off the ballot.

Yesterday the court said that they would decide Woodbury and Buckley's fates separately. Since the state Constitution says that legislators take office at midnight on the day of their election, and the term limit law did not go into effect until January 1, one possibility is that Buckley and the other legislators will get a "freebie" term and be allowed to stay, while Woodbury and other local and state officeholders would be blocked from running again.

Buckley Must Go

As a registered independent voter with no allegiance to either the Republican or Democratic party, I must state that Barbara Buckley is by the worst legislature that Nevada has ever had. She should be removed from her position so that she can pursue her more passionate pursuits of life like removing children from loving families and bashing small Nevada business.
