Nevada Senator Harry Reid issued the following statement regarding John McCain's campaign stop today in Nevada.
Washington, DC -- "Nevadans will face a clear choice in November: Barack Obama, who believes in Nevada's ability to lead the nation in a clean energy revolution that will create thousands of jobs here; or John McCain, who believes the way to solve our energy crisis is to increase Big Oil's profits. They can support Obama's vision of changing course in Iraq, or McCain's vision of staying there for another 100 years. They can vote for Obama's plan to protect our state from nuclear waste, or McCain's plan to fulfill George W. Bush's dream of making Nevada the nation's nuclear dumping ground. Nevadans know what's at stake, they know that the differences between Barack Obama and John McCain are clear, and I am confident that in November our state will help elect Obama as our next President of the United States. I look forward to helping him reach that goal."
