Obama, McCain in dead heat, LVRJ poll results wrap-up

LAS VEGAS - Monday, The Las Vegas Review-Journal finished publishing the results of a Nevada poll, conducted Jun. 9-11 by Mason-Dixon.  Here's a brief rundown of the poll's finding.

Presidential campaign

John McCain (R) - 44%

Barack Obama (D) - 42%

Undecided - 14%

Congressional District 2

Dean Heller (R) - 53%

Jill Derby (D) - 39%

Undecided - 8%

Congressional District 3

Jon Porter (R) - 45%

Jill Derby (D) - 42%

Undecided - 13%

Governor's Approval

Jim Gibbons (R):

Excellent - 3%

Good - 18%

Fair - 33%

Poor - 41%

Senate/Congress/Berkley Approval

Harry Reid (D):

Excellent - 17%

Good - 26%

Fair - 20%

Poor - 36%

John Ensign (R):

Excellent - 18%

Good - 38%

Fair - 31%

Poor - 8%

Top Issues

Economy - 35%

War in Iraq - 15%

Energy/Gas prices - 11%

National security/terrorism - 9%
